Student terms of service
In effect from 10 August 2026 · Version student-2026-08-1
These terms apply to your use of the Asulen platform as a student or learner. By creating an account you accept the terms below.
1. About the service
Asulen is a platform that connects students and learners with employers, lets them show what they can do, and gives them access to courses.
We do not guarantee employment. Hiring decisions rest entirely with the employer.
2. Your account
You must be 16 or older.
One person, one account. You may not transfer or lend your account to anybody else.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you put in your account. An account carrying a false name, education or experience may be suspended.
3. Profile, CV and visibility
Employers can see the information in your profile and CV.
You choose how visible your profile is: public, connections only, or private. You may change that setting at any time.
When you apply for a vacancy, a copy of your CV as it stands at that moment is sent to the employer. Changing your profile afterwards does not change the copy already sent.
4. What you publish
The posts, comments and images you write remain yours. We have the right to use them for the purpose of displaying them on the platform.
You may not publish material that infringes anybody's rights, or that is unlawful, abusive or fraudulent.
5. Messages and conduct
Chat is open only between users who have confirmed a connection with each other.
Harassment, threats, spam and repeated unsolicited requests are not allowed.
You may not share another user's personal information without their permission.
6. Courses
Enrolling on a course gives you the right to use its material for your own study only.
Access to a paid course runs for the period stated at the time of purchase. When that period ends, access to the material closes.
You may not copy, distribute or resell course material.
7. Personal data
We process your account, profile and activity data in order to provide the service.
Your CV is seen only by employers, and only for the purpose of hiring. We record how many employers have viewed it.
You may ask for your account to be deleted. After deletion your profile and posts are removed; applications you have already sent may remain in the employer's records.
8. Grounds for suspension
False information, acting in somebody else's name, harassment, fraud, and deliberate attempts to disrupt the platform are grounds for closing an account.
If your account is closed you will be told why, and you have the right to appeal.
9. Changes to these terms
If the terms change, the new version is shown to you the next time you sign in and your consent is asked again.
If you do not accept them, you cannot continue to use the service.
10. Limits of our liability
We are not responsible for the accuracy of vacancies employers publish, nor for their hiring decisions. Please report anything that looks suspicious.
If the service is interrupted or something breaks, we will do our best to restore it as soon as we can.
